Area

South Kensington

South Kensington is a fabulous area of South West London, filled with pretty parades of Victorian houses and provides a one-stop destination for some of London’s best museums. From the Natural History Museum, to the Science Museum and of course, the Victoria & Albert museum, visitors from around the world come to visit these South Kensington institutions. The Royal Albert Hall is also located just off the north end of Exhibition Road, home of the annual BBC Proms. Beyond the Music hall, is Hyde Park and the Serpentine Art Gallery – just a short walk from South Kensington tube station.

This home is not recommended for children under 12. Whilst part of its charm is its lower ground floor location and garden access, this does make the Wi-Fi a little temperamental. If you're planning on working remotely on a daily basis, it might not be the home for you.
No smoking, no pets and no parties please.

Reviews

Emily,
Overall a great experience for my first time in London. The neighborhood was wonderful. The apartment was overall nice but there were some noisy neighbors at times. Birds next door as well as late night talking specifically outside the guest bedroom. I was surprised by the amount of the owners personal items in the apartment - filled bookshelves and items the closet and bathroom. We did have to purchase toilet paper because none was left for us for the week. Not a huge deal but surprising based on the level of service we were expecting. It was a bummer to not be able to use our voucher credit on any amenities during our stay. We had previously paid for a more expensive home and then weren’t allowed to use our credit for items we wanted. I recommend changing this policy as it wasn’t our fault we couldn’t stay in 2020 (COVID) and then our original house was no longer available for rental (owner took it off the market). Would have been nice to make an exception for us to use our voucher on amenities.
