Area

Marylebone

A very smart but quaintly residential part of central London, Marylebone still manages to feel like a village despite residing in Zone 1. Residents – unfailingly well-heeled – love to be involved in neighbourhood life, and community events like the Marylebone Summer Festival and Marylebone Christmas Lights attract thousands of visitors every year. For those interested in a little sightseeing, the Sherlock Holmes Museum resides at – of course – 221B Baker Street, and elegant Regent’s Park is open daily.

Reviews

Liam,
We booked in January 2020 for a stay in June 2020, prepaid. We did not demand our money back when Covid made it impossible to visit the UK, but took agency's raincheck. agency extended the deadline for using the raincheck at least once, to March 2022. We scheduled a trip as late as we could to still use the raincheck, and prepaid some more when we chose a different apartment.
The day before we arrived, we were informed that one of the toilets didn't work. When we arrived the next day, it was completely disassembled. When we asked if maintenance would be coming during our stay to work on it, we received no answer. This was a substantial inconvenience, with poor communication.
We were charged for a 3-hour, mid-week cleaning of the property, and for a 2-hour late check-out. Given a disassembled toilet in the main bathroom for the entire stay, these charges were poorly considered.
agency customer support was responsive, except for the toilet surprise and lack of communication about repairs.
Deirdre,
Communication with the agency Team could not have been better. They responded quickly to all my concerns and came up with solutions for the delayed check-in for one of our group, a day-use recommendation for another early arriver, and were generally so very pleasant!
Thomas,
Easy to rent via Marriott website
Maria Laura,
Beautiful home. Lovely decor. All the appliances needed for a comfortable stay.
Called agency to request extended check out hours abd the lady nicely granted us till noon.
Met the cleaning staff on departure and they were also extremely nice.
Left a note & a bottle of wine for home owners as a gesture of appreciation for having enjoyed their place.
Erik,
We had booked another property, but the owner canceled a week before our arrival. agency went the extra mile to find us this property as a replacement at a price we could afford. It turned out to be a beautiful property--much nicer than the pictures could portray--and perfectly located for our time in London.
Gil,
