If variety is the spice of life, then this home has spice to spare. Each room showcases a host of colourful motifs and diverse textures - no where more so than in the principal bedroom, where a mix of striking paisley upholsteries contrast with smooth wood flooring and pastel green walls, and in the living room, with its delightful concoction of rich textiles, clashing prints, and cosy furnishings. The kitchen pairs a rustic style with those signature London home features - a large skylight and glass doors onto the garden. There's no shortage of space either, with two inviting living rooms, one basking in the light of a large bay window with charming views of the leafy street beyond, and a second upstairs, equipped with a handy desk, a cushy corner sofa, and large TV, complete with sizeable film collection. With so much choice, it's tricky to decide which room offers the comfiest set-up. So if you need a comfort-testing volunteer, we nobly nominate ourselves...
We love...
The Alpine-esque bathroom, with its wood floor and rustic-style panelling. The roll-top bath tub is particularly tempting. And then of course, there's the garden, with its verdant surrounds, patio terrace, and games section - complete with climbing frame and table tennis. So whether you fancy a game or two on the Astroturf, or a drink (or three) on the patio, those summer evenings are sure to be enjoyable.
