LIVING AREA
A rich palette of smoky blues and powder pinks jazzes up this traditional, open-plan living room. Mahogany parquet floors and impeccably plush furnishings make for an invitingly cosy ambience, whilst large windows and warm lighting keep things bright and airy. So sink back into that velvety sofa and enjoy. We're also very keen on the artwork here, which sets the theme of colour and creativity that runs through this home.
KITCHEN & DINING ROOM
An immaculately designed, luminously white kitchen area, flooded in light through a skylight and doors onto the patio. Vintage and modern are skilfully combined, as with the antique dining table set with six neon-yellow chairs. The bifolds allow you to bring the outdoors indoors, meaning an alfresco meal is never off the cards - if if a reliably sunny British summer is. The kitchen channels a slick, modernist design and is effectively laid out to maximise space and storage.
PRINCIPAL BEDROOM
A cushy principal bedroom, featuring a king-size bed, soft, mauve interiors, and attractive sash windows. It also comes with an ensuite bathroom, so we'd bagsy this one quickly if we were you.
PRINCIPAL ENSUITE
Small but sleek, the ensuite includes a walk-in shower, wash basin, and WC.
FAMILY BATHROOM
A sparklingly fresh bathroom with a large walk-in shower and bathtub.
SECOND BEDROOM
Cool, green tones characterise this serene second bedroom, which combines vintage-style furnishings with a double bed and views of the terraced street below.
THIRD BEDROOM
Pretty in pink, this charming children's bedroom includes a single bed with a pull out trundle underneath. A handy feature of this room is that it can be set up as two singles or one super-king.
FOURTH BEDROOM
Another delightfully decorated children's bedroom, complete with a second trundle bed that can also helpfully be set up as two singles or one super-king.
THE GARDEN
If there's one thing that makes a garden feel summery (whatever the weather) it's a mosaic patio. Colourful geometric patterns, cushioned rattan furniture, and that all-important BBQ, make this the perfect spot for a relaxing evening outside.
The neighborhood is super for walking, transport and shopping.
No issues with the tv or sound system.
However, it is the first time that we experienced a rental with a kitchen almost totally under security tape. The assortment of drinking glasses reminded me of a collage dorm - odd bits and too few - We had to rent wine glasses for our Christmas and New Year's dinners and scrub all the baddly stained mugs. The freezer was so crammed it was hard making space for our few purchases.
The bedrooms were not well cleaned - dirty clothes and dust balls under children's bed and the bench (untaped) in master bedroom contained 4 baskets of dirty laundry. Every surface in every room was covered with personal items (toys, pictures, vases, plants) no hanging space in children's rooms and 1/2 of a much crammed closet in the master - one drawer for master bedroom and 1 child room and none in the other. No space was made available in any of the bathrooms for personal items. Maybe understandable if we had booked a week before arriving for just a few nights and it was summer but as you know that was not the case. It is unfortunate that the care the owners took to prepare the house is not equal to the care you gave us.
