A masterful blending of neutral tones, light-filled interiors, and oodles of glass makes this home feel airy and summery — even when the great British weather has other ideas. The living room combines soft textures with plush seating to crank up the cosiness, whilst remaining gloriously fresh and open thanks to a striking glass ceiling. Industrial-style French windows enhance this feeling and open onto a leafy, well-screened patio. Stretching beyond to give a brilliant impression of space is a comfily casual — but enjoyably sophisticated — dining area, complete with playful wall art and a large marble table to seat eight. The open-plan kitchen is equally slick, with glossy surfaces, sculptural lighting, and a generously-sized kitchen island. The bedrooms showcase crisp interiors accented with pastel notes and an abundance of natural light. We particularly love the principal bedroom, where light and space are accentuated by mirrored surfaces and sweeping windows. It even comes with an ample ensuite, uniting clean lines and chic contrasts. Then last but certainly not least, there's the patio garden, in which a warm colour-wash, exotic greenery, and a sleek hot tub weave in some LA style, whilst offering a welcome winter warmer. It is England, after all.
Much as we'd enjoy relaxing in the living room with a soft breeze floating in through the patio doors and sunlight pouring through the glass ceiling, the TV room is equally tempting, with its enveloping L-shaped sofa and bonus kitchenette. A few film nights snuggled up in here with a glass of wine? Yes please. There's also a handy study space if you need a quiet corner to work in during the day.
