Comfortable and inviting, this apartment comes highly recommended for those wanting a central base to explore London. Comfortable, elegantly furnished, and ideally located moments from Chelsea's beating heart that is Sloane Square, this home is the perfect base from which to enjoy your London adventures. Note that this apartment is a perfect companion piece to Sloane Square 1, a two-bedroom apartment just down the hallway - the two together are perfect for a group of 5!

Themes of wood and light are evident throughout this well-designed studio apartment. This studio space is furnished with a king-size (6ft wide) bed. Expect a dining table, with the backdrop of a floor to ceiling mirror to ensure plenty of light fills the room. There is also a stool and bar area for two, and a comfortable sofa and chair offering a range of seating options. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary mod-cons to prepare a feast if you can resist the tempting array of eateries outside. The apartment has a separate dining room, seating four.

As outlined above, the bed is a king-size pull-down bed that is situated in the living room. You will find one bathroom, with a bath and a built-in overhead shower.

This studio apartment is located on the lower ground floor (with short stairs access, with elevator). It is laid out over a single floor.

Sloane Square is less than one minute's walk and forms the hub of upmarket Chelsea with collections of jewellers (Cartier and company), Peter Jones department store, the Royal Court Theatre, Sloane Square tube station and the start of the King's Road to the west and Sloane Street to the north. You could not wish for more life, better retail or dining options or easier access to the main sights, just three direct underground stops from Sloane Square to Westminster on the District Line. To your east, you are on the threshold of Belgravia. Buckingham Palace is a 15-minute walk. To your south, the River Thames is a ten-minute stroll.

This studio Chelsea vacation rental boasts its own small private garden (a real treat when a home is this central in London!) This private garden leads into larger communal gardens - so you are spoilt for choice.

A really amazing location - even better than I expected - just a few steps from Sloane Square tube and all the great shops in this part of Belgravia (Pavilion St and Duke of York Sq were both new to me and terrific - i bought groceries in the 'General Store' on the former and saved myself the slightly longer walk to Waitrose). The apartment is exactly as advertised: clean, modern, comfortable. In fact, it's more spacious than I expected with an extra dining area and lots of closet / drawer space outside a large bathroom. The shared garden is gorgeous. The team - Nicola, Jennifer and Johan - were great to work with. My flight was delayed and they went out of their way to accommodate me with access to the flat. All round, a great experience and I'll be back.
