At the end of the road is the tree-lined Holland Park Avenue. There you will find the best butcher in London, Legates, as well as bookshops, a famous upmarket grocery selling Champagnes and English cheeses and other delicious produce; the wonderful upmarket deli 'Speck', a Maison Blanc, Paul, Starbucks and Giraffe. There is also a Tesco with an ATM.

Backing onto the famous leafy expanse of Holland Park, this property gives you central London living with the bonus of plenty of outdoor space on your doorstep. Holland Park even has some resident cows; see if you can spot them while you’re in town!

Perhaps you will spend Saturday exploring the eclectic and bustling Portobello Road Market, a 15-minute walk away. Originally a lane leading to Portobello Farm, its sides now burst at the seams with antiques, vintage fashion stores and bakeries and boasts some of the world’s best-loved stalls. The Portobello Green Fashion Market runs Thursday through to Sunday. Or head to Golborne Road for tempting food produce in the week and first-class bric-a-brac and second-hand items at the weekend.

Staying at Queensdale Place this past week was a joy. A charming, well appointed mews home that is convenient to the Holland Park tube station as well as numerous shops and restaurants in tree lined, comfortable neighborhood was such a bonus. We had a wonderful stay. As each day passed we appreciated the location more and more. We are a family of 5 and everyone had their own bedroom. Short walk to the Tube/Underground, which brings you anywhere you want to go in the city and beyond. The neighborhood is full of unique restaurants and shops. The property is located in a very quiet neighborhood in a small gated courtyard. If we return to London we will definitely book again.

Great house, charming location. We were a party of 2 adults, 4 grown up kids, sightseeing in London for a week. The house was well appointed, spotlessly clean, and close to tube stations including Latimer Rd, Holland Park and Shepherds Bush. Grocery stores nearby, a giant mall (the Westfield), and great dining out options. Walkable to Notting Hill and Kensington Gardens. We were in the house for the 40C/104F weather and the house remained very cool downstairs throughout. Fans thoughtfully provided for all bedrooms. Would highly recommend.

This home was the ideal base for our family during our holiday in London. The home is bright and done up very nicely. It felt like a proper to home to us and it made a big difference knowing we were coming home to it. The team looked after us. We enjoyed being in all the action of London-the markets, the ‘boho’ Nottinghill area was intriguing and an experience for sure.
