LIVING & EATING
Step inside and enjoy the sense of space thanks to the high ceilings. The bright kitchen is fully equipped, and the open-plan living area is complete with a comfortable sofa and a large dining table to seat six. This area also looks out over the private terrace below. Ivy loves the option for al fresco dining or simply catching some quiet downtime with a book.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
The bedroom boasts a UK king-size bed (5ft wide) and benefits from plenty of natural light through the large patio doors which lead out onto the newly renovated terrace. Two further guests can be accommodated on the sofa, which converts easily into a double sofa bed (4.6ft wide)
The family bathroom is complete with shower over bath, basin and WC.
ACCESS & LAYOUT
This property is located on the upper ground floor, with access to the main entrance via a few steps. Once inside, you will find the living room and kitchen on the ground floor. The bedroom is down one flight of stairs and opens onto the terrace.
ON YOUR DOORSTEP
Your holiday rental is just an 8-10 minute walk from Kensington High Street Tube Station or Earls Court Tube Station so that you will have quick and easy access to the whole of the city. There are many grocery stores, ATMs, coffee shops and restaurants all on the doorstep along the popular and thriving High Street Kensington.
A visit to Kensington Gardens is a must and is one of the capital's eight Royal Parks and home to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, aka William and Kate. Kensington Palace is at the heart of Kensington Gardens, and there is nothing better than a picnic in the front of the palace. For your picnic food, head to the Wholefoods flagship store on Kensington High Street or the Marks & Spencer's food hall, just next door. Kensington High Street is one of London's most popular shopping destinations bursting with wonderful shops, cafes and restaurant and is usually less crowded than Oxford Street.
For superb dining, head to the Belvedere restaurant in Holland Park or Il Portico - an upmarket Italian. To drink, the Kensington Wine Rooms have a wide and carefully chosen selection of wines and also offer nibbles and tapas. The waiters are charming and friendly and have a particular interest in South African wine (though there is plenty of European/ US wine too!) Alternatively, Kensington Roof Terrace has great cocktails, food and has an amazing rooftop garden.
